Review
Tallaght Adventure World is just a few minutes' drive from the Square. Unfortunately there are not many parking slots in front of its building, so it might be a bit of a challenge to find a free place for your car on a rainy Saturday. The playcentre itself is not too big, yet its atmosphere is cosy. There are two separate play areas: one for babies under 3 and one for older kids. The soft play area is absolutely safe for the little ones: there is a ball pool, a short slide and a few padded items to play with; whereas for kids over 3-4 the playcentre offers a huge climbing frame with a gigantic slide in the middle. In theory, adults cannot climb up the frame at peak time, but when I rushed after my 2-year-old, nobody told me off, although the playcentre is obviously not under-staffed. Next to the toddler area, there is a tiny section, where football and basketball can be played. The only drawback of the place is the absolute lack of natural light: some areas are dreadfully dark, although I could not decide if this is intentional or accidental. The cafe's prices are reasonable and there is free wi-fi in the playcentre.
